  5. Reply to the intro SMS. Use send_text_message to answer.
Claude

Add a custom connector / MCP server in Claude's connector settings. Paste the name and address from the Connect card above and sign in with your Simply Semantics account. Full SMS go-live depends on whether your Claude setup can register a public text callback. Do not assume a slash-command setup path unless your Claude setup supports it.

Cursor

Add a custom MCP server / connector in Cursor. Paste the name and address from the Connect card above and sign in with your Simply Semantics account. SMS go-live requires a callback-capable agent path. Use the tools your Cursor agent exposes after connect; do not invent a ChatGPT-style slash flow.

ChatGPT (coming for SMS)

Connector-level access may work on plans that allow custom MCP connectors (Business / Enterprise / Edu for full MCP write; do not promise Plus). End-to-end Connect SMS on ChatGPT is not tested and is not ready without a public web callback adapter. ChatGPT cannot host the register_text_callback URL the way Grok Bot can, and there is no /setup_text_callback slash UX for ChatGPT today. Treat ChatGPT as coming for SMS, not as a complete peer path.

Other callback-ready agents can use the same connector name and address. Full SMS requires the ability to register a text callback. ChatGPT SMS is coming.

Is OAuth enough?

On the proven path, yes. Add the connector, sign in, and type /setup_text_callback. No extra confirm step on this page. That slash UX is for callback-ready agents such as Grok Bot, not ChatGPT.

Is there a number list to choose from?

No. Your line is delivered by SMS after setup. Ops and personal lines are never in a customer picker.

Where do the texts go?

To the agent you connected that can receive the callback (Grok Bot proven today; Gateway flow or your own bot where supported).

Can I connect more than one agent?

Yes. Each one gets a word. Start the text with that word to choose it. Only your registered phone can do that.

Can someone else text my agent?

No. Only the mobiles you register and verify reach your agents.

Are calls included now?

Texts first. Calls follow on the same lease.

Does ChatGPT work for Connect SMS today?
